Bio

Love technology from early age (six years old), when I got my ZX Spectrum 48K. Made my first copy program at 12 years.
Got my first PC only at 16 (until this age, I wen to my richer friends house to play with their computers), was frequently called to make PCTools magic, for "hacking" Sim City save game files to increase money :)
Started working with computers when got to be admin in two cyber coffes in my town (Barreiro), also as an extra service for one of the cyber-coffes made some scripts to train skills in Ultima Online MMORPG.
After that, went to Brazil to try to start my company. Did some large projects of e-commerce (www.livrariagalileu.com.br) among others. Also did some lectures in local user groups (more based on Microsoft .NET and eXtreme Programming).
After 4 years and a half, got back to Portugal because the violence in Rio de Janeiro.
Tried to start one user group in Portugal, but failed :(.
Worked in the biggest tourism software used in more than 90% tourism agencies in Portugal (KeyForTravel from Viatecla Software).
Did one Lecture about eXtreme Programming in "Seminário de Metodologias Ágeis" at ISCTE (http://bit.ly/efu3t), and more recently at NetPonto usergroup's meeting (http://bit.ly/aYiwa0). Among that, I also was presented some other lectures on NetPonto meetings, about "Support tools for development in .NET" (http://slidesha.re/9WiBYy) and another about a souce-code template engine called "MyGeneration" (http://slidesha.re/aq3vhR).

Today, I'm working at my own Start-up, iap4U, where we deliver mobile solutions for iOS and Android platforms, among another product we are developing based on SaaS business models.

I'm one of the NetPonto's groups Leaders, and also the manager of the Portuguese Google Technology User Groups, Portugal GTUG (http://bit.ly/9XfhTi).

Will try now to learn how to bake a good chocolate cake :P
