I'm a 2nd year student of Computer Engineer at ISCTE-IUL in Lisbon and I worked for the better part of a year at Caixa Magica Software doing Packaging and Support (nice folks btw). I attended last year's Codebits and the previous one as well, even entered the Quiz both times and always by sheer luck (looking forward for any similar activities this year btw). I've learned many interesting things and made some new connections so I'm hopping I can take advantage to connect with even more people this year. I am also very interested in Web Design and Web Development and have a few websites that I designed for and even one I built from scratch using PHP as a summer project a couple years back (an RSS aggregator in PHP, now open sourced) (my portfolio http://www.nonsensebb.com/portefolio/ - for ever under construction). I'm also a strong Linux and FOSS advocate and I'm very interested in the future of the web in particular. I'm also currently working on TV Wall, a website made 100% in Javascript (server and client) to manage TV Shows. It's not revolutionary but I have a few ideas to use the interface for other purposes and also something about bittorrent to stream video if I can get the contracts in place. Cool enough for codebits? PS: This time it's on, I won't lose in a stupid way on the quiz final!
