Codebits 2010 status

Applied. In review.

Bio

They call me microft.
My early years where spent between Frogger, Pang and Super Mario Bros. After I got my hands on a computer, nothing was ever the same.

Got a degree in Mathematics and Computer Sciences from Universidade do Minho. As part of the internship and for the last 3 years I've working in web development at Eurotux Informatica. Mostly intranets and extranets based on CMS Plone (http://plone.org) and Zope (project list: http://plone.net/providers/eurotux-informatica-s-a ), but I get to work with a lot of other different languages/applications/technologies (whatever a project at hand requires).

On a more personal note, currently working on a few projects using the Django framework and Google App Engine.
Completely bewitched by Open Source, and always trying to give back. Contributor to some minor open-source projects like Gwibber (https://launchpad.net/gwibber) and few cpan/pypi modules.

Learned tons during last year's codebits, and met some of the most amazing people I'd never thought would be together in one place (in Portugal).
