UPDATE: Presentation slides are up - http://www.slideshare.net/LuisFCorreia/presenting-the-tricopter-or-third-time-is-a-charm
This one flies, I've got proof.
[UPDATE] New video, my tricopter with a proper pilot :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBdd_pDlI20
This will be the absolute last talk I'm making about "things I made that fly".
It's kind of the third trilogy movie.
If you attend to this talk, you'll probably see a flying tricopter, depending on the actual location. This thing weights about 1.2Kg and has a diameter of about 90 cm with fast rotating blades ^H^H^H^H propellers. It is VERY dangerous.
But it will be very fun, as I know it DOES work.
I will elaborate a bit more about design decisions and building similar devices, the do's and don'ts of this (expensive) hobby.
I may even assemble a multicopter (quad) during the talk, just to show you how easy it is to do it.
yeah, quads are THAT easy
