Abstract

A/B testing, loved and hated by many. You work with small iterations, improving your product development and quality based on data.
Being a developer, you have strong opinions and you know where you want to take your product in terms of technology standards.

This talk will cover the wins and frustrations of a developer doing technically and performance experiments, mostly focused on frontend.

JavaScript, Template and design changes are validated by your customers.

Your customer tells where you should go. Are you prepared to learn your way to innovation being guided by your user?

If so, attend this talk. It's not always easy to see your user saying you are wrong, but you can actually learn a great deal from that.

Will showcase some experiments and tools that you can use to validate your assumptions with your users engagement.

Upvoted.

Personally A/B testing is still underestimated by a lot of teams. I for one need to learn more about it. Really hoping this talk gets approved.

A/B Testing is probably the most important thing to have on your website. Learn to love it... either you like it or not. It can make a huge difference on costumer satisfaction and revenue, even if you can't explain why.

For a FE developer who always wishes to have more control over UX decisions, it seems a great talk! Thumbs up! :)

Now that the Google Play Store has alpha/beta channels which can also be used for A/B testing, I think I should attend this talk and try to apply some of the concepts to Android.

We have been doing User Testing for a while and are now starting to use a bit of A/B testing to understand our users better, to improve our projects and sometimes to try to show our clients the importance of some of our design decisions. Some of these are easier to show with user data than with concepts.

It would be good to know how others are doing it, and with what results.
